The Beautiful Lauren Bacall
The amazing and beautiful Lauren Bacall. She will be missed but her iconic style and legendary talent will be remembered. Known for her haunting voice and sensual look she was more than a model. She was an amazing actress and was a timeless beauty. When I think of the 1940s and 50s I think of the one and only Bacall. She is my inspiration and she will never be forgotten.

Power Is Style
This particular look I would have to
say is my favorite because I imagine a woman going to an event wearing this.
Maybe she is going to a show in Fashion Week or maybe a business meeting. I
think it's perfect. The green, bubble print crop top adds a nice pop of color. Color is a
huge thing this fall. This OSMAN ‘Love’ Kimono Coat is the new trench coat. I can
imagine the wind flowing through this coat while running down New York City's streets to get to a meeting or a photo shoot. The simple, but chic J.W. Anderson Moon leather clutch is a
substitute for the drab briefcase. Adding a business touch, this clutch is an
essential for this power woman look. This beautiful pair of CASADEI 115mm calf blade pumps adds a subtle and chic touch. Last but not least, essential for
this look are the 3.1 PHILLIP LIM wool and satin Bermuda shorts. They can be
worn for business, a night out with friends, or a date. They're perfect
for this look. The Mellissa Multi
pack bangles in black are simple and cute. They are edgy and
that's why I chose this set. I love this look because it states, "Power!" I hope you guys love. xoxo

My 5 Question Interview With US Weekly Fashion Director Sasha Charnin Morrison
Sasha Charnin Morrison, words cant describe how amazing this woman is. She has worked for some of the most influential magazines such as, Seventeen Magazine, Elle, Harpers Bazaar and more. Having the chance to talk with her (well email) was a beautiful experience. She is nothing but pure honesty and tells it like it is. Just to think a simple tweet I sent her came this far.One thing that I admire about you is your honesty and how open you are about your experience in this industry. My first question is when was that moment when you knew this career was for you?
Thank you. I knew when I went to meet the woman who would become my stepmother who worked at Vogue. She changed my life at 13. I walked into the fashion closet to officially meet her and that was it. I knew. Whatever this was, I wanted in. I did and completed Everything everyone wanted me to do-high school, college. But being a fashion editor at a magazine was going to be it.
As we talked about before, I want to be an Editorial Stylist. You have worked for some of the biggest magazines out there; Harper's Bazaar being one of them. Out of the five years working there, what was your fondest memory?
Working with the inspiring and wonderful Liz Tilberis. She had such a zest for life and for her family and for the work. She was able to do it all. She made us all better. Made us proud of what we did. She directed us. Trusted us and above all she had humor about it all this. To have had that opportunity was the greatest reward. And being able to work with the influential and talented group she had assembled was also an honor and privilege.
Working for Us Weekly you get to see alot of celebrity looks and hear all the gossip. Who are some celeberties you cant wait to see on the carpet and why?
I like all the new ladies: Nicola Peltz,
Adèle Exarchopoulos, Lea Seydoux, Lizzy Caplan, Lupita Nyong'o, Iggy Azalea, Kendall Jenner, kacey musgraves, Arianna Grande. I also love Mindy Kaling for how she dresses up and loves it. I like all the odd balls who have a deeper beauty. Haunting.
I absolutely loved your book! It was so helpful and informative. When can your fans expect another book ?
Thank you. Hopefully soon-ish. It may be in another form. To always have with you. Key is something that will be less bitchy about fashion and more useful. Educational. Absorbing.
One thing you told me that sticks with me is "Mostly sensitive people who say things that sound like fabulocity, but it's all nonsense and complete bull shit. If you talk a good game - someone will listen". What is another piece of advice that will encourage people to never give up in this industry called fashion?
Wow. I did say that. Oooops. Hee hee! But listen: If you give up or are willing to walk away-then you never wanted it in the first place. And that's ok. You will then know. Just stand out of the way because someone is right behind you with the hunger for it. It's a hunger, a desire, a thirst. The business is always changing and always challenging which makes it amazing. Its not about being a star, or a competition for how many numbers or followers you have. You have to be open to build. You have to learn. You have to listen. And you have to take a lot of shit. But in the long run-it'll pay off because you'll be able to look at the body of work that you created yourself...for yourself and be proud. As it's hard to define what it is you do to someone who doesn't understand it. You look at a picture you styled or a story you called in and there are 101 stories on how that all came together. You revel in it. And then you admire it and most importantly you move on-onto the next.

My Small Twitter Fame
I want to express my small twitter fame and how people from Jenifer Lopez to Oprah follows me. Now I live in Lansing Michigan. It is a small city that happens to be the capitol. I go to a community college and obviously I am interested in fashion. I wasn't moving to New York City any time soon. I was trying to think of ways to get exposure while I am sitting at home. I then decided I want to illustrate some people I love and look up to. The first person I drew ad they actually responded and followed me was Missy Elliot. She is a huge influence to me musically and style wise. Oprah was the next person to follow me. It was breath taking to get a notification saying "Oprah Winfrey is now following you". People around the world have seen my work and commented on it. People from the Editor in Chief of Teen Vogue and Seventeen magazine has seen their individual illustration and has both followed me. Other celebrities like Paris Hilton, Sevyn Streeter, Faith Evans, Elle Varner, and others have seen my work and followed me. Another reason I chose to draw these illustrations was because I wanted these amazing people to know who I was
before I meet them in person. It doesn't matter where you are from you have the opportunity to show off your work right from your living room; and that's just the start.
